Tanzanian singer, Juma Mussa Mkambala, popularly known as Juma Jux, won Best East African Artiste at the 17th headies award.

With his songs, the artist who recently got married to Priscilla, the daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, in a lavish ceremony, has won over the hearts of many Nigerians.

The ‘Ololufe Mi’ crooner beat other nominees, including Bien (Kenya), Diamond Platnumz (Tanzania), Bruce Melodie (Rwanda), and Azawi (Uganda), to win the coveted award at the ceremony held on Sunday at the Landmark Event Centre, Lekki.
