Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi has sworn in Justice Eni Esan as the first female President of the state’s Customary Court of Appeal.
The swearing in ceremony was held yesterday at the Executive Council Chamber of the Governor’s Office, Ibadan.
The development follows the retirement of the pioneer President of the court, Justice Solomon Akinteye, on age ground.
Justice Eni Esan was born on January 28, 1955 and was called to the bar in 1979.
She became a judge of Oyo state’s High Court in 2001.
