Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina, has expressed regret over Nigeria’s elimination from the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Nigeria was eliminated from the 2021 AFCON Round of 16 after losing 1-0 to Tunisia last Sunday.
Reacting, Aina noted that Super Eagles would bounce back from AFCON elimination.
He posted, “It’s been a few days since our exit of this year’s AFCON, something that no one saw coming.
“The team was committed and work hard throughout the whole campaign and we fell short where it mattered most.
“Our strong team will be back and ready for the challenges that await us. Until then, thank you for the love and support.”
