Popular Nigerian singer and Grammy winner, Damini Ogulu, known as Burna Boy, has offered a heartfelt tribute to Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, the late mother of his fellow artist, Wizkid, who sadly passed away on Friday.
Following the announcement of her passing, various celebrities and public figures have taken to social media to express their condolences to Wizkid, his family, and friends.
However, Burna Boy took it to a new level after pausing his set at the Afronation Fest in Detroit, United States, to pay tribute to the late Mrs Balogun.
He commanded the crowd to observe a minute silence for the late mother of the Starboy boss, before proceeding to sing a line from his collaborative song with Wizkid, ‘Ginger.’
