Rangers International Football Club, commonly known as Enugu Rangers on Saturday defeat the Feeders Team of Niger Tornadoes to keep the hope of retaining the Aiteo Cup alive.
Rangers FC beat Niger Tornadoes 2-0 in a match played at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan where both team entertain the fans.
It was gathered that Rangers FC are the defending champions of the AITEO CUP.
Speaking in an interview with Fresh FM correspondent, Rangers FC coach, Gbenga Ogunbote said it was a well-deserved victory and i want to appreciate the fans for their support and also my appreciation goes to the players for their efforts towards the victory.
Speaking on the performance of their Opponent, he said: “We can’t shy away from the fact that they are the Niger State Champion and they proved to everyone what they are capable of doing. I give it to them”.
