A wandering elephant from a government forest reserve reportedly attacked and killed a farmer in Imobi, located in the Ijebu East Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The Commissioner for Forestry, Taiwo Oludotun confirmed the tragic incident on Tuesday.
Oludotun said, “Yes, we are aware, and we are already on our way to the community”.
