Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer reported a 38.4% increase in adjusted net income in the second quarter of 2026, due to increased sales and better operating efficiency.

This was revealed in the firm’s financial reports, which were made public on Monday, August 10, 2026. After a successful April–June quarter, the company increased its full-year guidance.

Embraer’s adjusted net income increased from $158 million in the same time in 2025 to $218.6 million in Q2 2026.

Additionally, revenue climbed 23% year over year to $2.2 billion, the company’s highest-ever revenue for the second quarter.

According to the aircraft maker, adjusted free cash flow for the quarter was $401 million, excluding Eve.

“Stronger operating performance, strong sales-related pre-downpayment inflows, and an extraordinary tax credit” were cited as reasons for the performance.

The company stated that it raised its financial guidance for 2026 due to the tax credit, tariff exemption, and better business outlook.

“Embraer now anticipates closing 2026 with an adjusted free cash flow excluding Eve of US$400m or higher (up from US$200m or higher) and an adjusted EBIT margin between 10% and 10.6% (up from between 8.7% and 9.3%),” the firm stated in a statement.

Additionally, Embraer revealed that its backlog of firm orders had reached a record $34.5 billion, a 16% increase from the second quarter of 2025.

65 aircraft were delivered during the period, which the business described as its “strongest second-quarter performance over the past 16 years.”

When compared to the same time last year, the deliveries showed a 17% increase.

Of the 65 aircraft that were delivered, 45 were executive jets and 20 were commercial aircraft. During that time, no aircraft deliveries were reported by the company’s Defense and Security branch.

Embraer reiterated its 2026 delivery goals of 160–170 corporate jets and 80–85 commercial aircraft.

During the quarter, the executive aviation company brought in $725 million, up 32% from Q2 2025.

The expansion was “benefiting from higher volumes and product mix,” according to the corporation.

In the meantime, its Defense & Security division generated $304 million in revenue, a 38% increase from the previous year.

The rise was “driven by stronger KC-390 Millenium revenue recognition related to customer mix and product stage,” according to Embraer.
