João Pedro, a forward for Chelsea, has signed a new long-term contract with the team that will keep him there until June 2032.
After Chelsea accepted and finished the required contract paperwork, the Brazilian forward decided to stay at Stamford Bridge.
In addition, the new deal gives João Pedro a pay raise in recognition of his accomplishments since joining the team.
It is believed that the contract includes an option that would allow João Pedro to stay at Chelsea past June 2032, highlighting the team’s long-term goals for the player.
The transfer analyst was cited as saying, ” João Pedro puts pen to paper and signs new Chelsea deal until June 2032, documents approved,” in a post that was taken from Fabrizio Romano’s X post on Wednesday. The Brazilian stays, receives a pay increase, and has the option to extend his contract past 2032.
Pedro responded to the agreement by saying, “I’m very happy to continue my journey with Chelsea.” This club has big goals, and I want to contribute to what we are creating here. I’m thrilled about the future and I feel at home.
