A 45-year-old housewife and farmer named Kudirat Bolarinwa was allegedly raped and then murdered by an ex convict in Ondo town, Ondo State. It was learned that the victim was killed after being raped at Lakere, Ayeyemi neighborhood.
The Police search team found her naked and decaying body in the forest over the weekend. According to sources, the deceased was attacked, raped and killed after going with the suspect to purchase plantain on a farm.
The Victim was reported missing on Friday after her failure to return from the farm. It was learned that after reporting the event to the local Enu-Owa Police Division, the deceased wife’s husband, Abolarinwa urged authorities to search for his missing wife.
At the scene of the crime, there was allegedly a bag with a small paper that belong to the killer. According to the paper discovered at the crime site, the suspect was set free from Segede prison on February 6, 2024, the Source continued.
The Deceased woman was discovered naked with matchets cuts, according to a police source, and her body showed indications of brutal markings.
According to information obtained, the state police command has begun a manhunt after the fleeing suspect ex-convict.
The farmer and housewife was killed according to Funmi Odunlami, the spokesperson for the state police command who was contacted.
Odunlami stated “One Tajudeen Bolarinwa of Ago road, Onipetesi village reported that at 1630 hours his wife, Mrs Kudirat Bolarinwa aged 45, who travels from one farm to another to buy kolanuts, was killed in the bush by an unknown person.
“The dead was found at the location of the incident with only her pants on, and the side of her face, lower arm and head was severely macheted.
“While efforts are being made to apprehend the culprit, the deceased body has been placed at the morgue in Ondo town”.
