Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state has sworn in the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Mrs Olanike Adeyemo, the Head of Service, Mrs. Olubunmi Oni, 16 newly appointed Commissioners, the State Accountant-General, Mrs Kikelomo Adegoke and some Permanent Secretaries.
The swearing-in ceremony was held on Thursday at the Executive Chamber of the Governor’s Office, Agodi Secretariat Ibadan.
Speaking at the ceremony, the governor said that his administration has successfully appointed the commissioners across the 14 federal constituencies in the state.
He added that he would continue to search for reputable personalities that can serve the state well from its nooks and crannies.
Makinde also pledged that he will never relent his robust policies for the state, despite that he had been given another mandate to serve the state.
The governor, however, admonished the newly appointed Commissioners and other principal officials to be upright and deliver their statutory functions according to the oath of office they took.
