Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde has promised the state workers that every quarter of his administration will have a parley with them in order to ensure all their demands are carefully and swiftly responded to.
Governor Makinde made the promise today while addressing the Labour workers at the state’s secretariat, Agodi Ibadan
Recall that the Oyo state workers demanded for the payment of salary deductions, palliatives for workers, upward review of pension allowances, payment of leave bonus, among others.
The Governor appealed to the workers to see the development of the state as a collective effort in order to achieve desired success.
Responding, the Chairman, Oyo State Chapter of Nigeria Labour congress, NLC, Comrade Kayode Martins commended the governor’s quick response noting that parts of their agitations presented to the government have been resolved while others are in progress.
