The Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria has announced the appointment of Mr. Clement Isong as its new executive secretary following the retirement of Mr. Obafemi Olawore after over 17 years in the saddle.
Members of MOMAN are 11 Plc (formerly known as Mobil), Total Nigeria Plc, Conoil Plc, Forte Oil Plc, OVH Energy (trading under the licence of Oando Plc) and MRS Oil Nigeria Plc.
MOMAN said in a statement on Tuesday that Olawore emerged as its first executive secretary at a time of great uncertainty, and was able to advance the objectives of the organisation, while championing its position at major policy dialogue sessions.
