A support group, Asiwaju Project Beyond 2023, has expressed its readiness to purchase the presidential nomination form for an All Progressives Congress aspirant, Bola Tinubu.
In a statement released in Abuja by its National Director, Media & Publicity, Adeboye Adebayo, on Wednesday night, the group said picking up the form for him was a result of the belief they had in him and to make it clear to Nigerians that he had the capacity to lead Nigeria to the promised land.
The statement partly read, “We as a group are committed to pick the All Progressives Congress presidential nomination form for our principal, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to participate in the presidential primaries of the party to be held on a yet to be announced date next month.
“He has an intimidating credential and has contributed to the development of democracy in the country. We believe he has all that it takes to take the country forward. We truly believe in his capacity.
“After the price for the form was announced by the National Executive Council, we had a national leadership meeting of the group was called at our secretariat and we concluded on the plan to pick the form for him. The money has been raised; we will be storming the secretariat soon to get the form for him,” the group said.
