In the most recent episode of his ongoing tell-all series on the P-Square family conflict, singer Paul Okoye, better known by his stage as Rudeboy, responded to claims made by his twin brother, Peter Okoye (Mr P), that their late mother and other family members mistreated his wife, Lola.

Rudeboy seemed to address the accusations in a post on his social media platforms on Friday, saying, “Unfortunately, you’re not here to defend yourself.” Mom, keep sleeping.

The post was made following the release of the eighth installment of Mr. P’s video series, which chronicles the long-running conflict within the Okoye family, on Thursday.

In the film, Mr. P described how his late mother, Josephine Okoye, along with other family members and pastors, questioned him and his wife about their connection during a family gathering at his Omole home.

He claims that the incident happened after Lola gave birth to their baby.

“Our mom came to visit when we moved into Omole,” he stated. My son was five or six months old at the time. I moved into Jude’s room and gave my mom the master bedroom when she came to visit. I thot my mother would inquire, “How is your new baby?” My mother didn’t inquire. “How is Lola?” she asked. I’m hoping she’s okay. “Can you tell her to come?” she said. “All right, would you like to see the baby?” I said. “No, let her come first,” she said.

Lola was residing on the island at the time. How am I supposed to ask Lola not to bring the baby and let her know that my mother wanted to see her? We had fumigated the house, so I had to tell Lola that I wouldn’t be bringing the baby.

Mr. P claims that following Lola’s arrival, the family’s mother, brothers Jude, Paul, and Tony, as well as the pastors, gathered in the master bedroom of their Omole home.

He said that neither he nor his spouse received a seat offer.

“Everyone was seated. I went to give Lola a call. No one got up or said, “Lola, sit down,” when she walked into the room. Nobody even made an effort to properly greet her. I just sat on the floor with Lola.

Then, according to Mr. P, their mother told his wife, “Young woman, we the Okoye family have decided that you should leave our son alone.”

“I said, ‘What is going on?'” he went on. Lola and I had a minor argument a few days prior, and she thot I might have orchestrated this to end our relationship. “Baby, what’s going on?” she asked. I posed the same question to my mother. Jude then pleaded, “Leave our brother alone.” I examined Jude’s face.

He added that Jude later picked up a picture of his baby son and said something disparaging in Igbo, which Lola took to mean that the youngster was a “bastard.”

“Lola broke down in tears. The pastors made every effort to soothe her. He claimed that they forced Lola out of the house.

Mr. P further claimed that prior to the altercation, Jude and Rudeboy distributed an anonymous email challenging the paternity of his unborn baby and opposed Lola’s pregnancy.

He claimed that there was “nothing that Jude and Paul didn’t do for Lola to take that pregnancy out.”

However, Mr. P stated that their mother later acknowledged that his son was his biological child and requested his brothers to apologize to him; however, he asserted that the apology never materialized prior to her passing.

Additionally, he denied that Lola didn’t like his late mother and asserted that the two ladies got along well prior to her death.

“When my mother was ill… For more over two months, Lola took the pastors home every day while staying with her in the hospital till midnight, he added.

The singer further stated that their mother wanted Paul and their older brother, Jude, to apologize to him prior to her passing, but they never did.

Although Rudeboy did not specifically address the accusations, many saw his post as a defense of their late mother.

The most recent correspondence represents a new phase in the protracted conflict between the former P-Square members and their older brother, Jude, about royalties, family ties, corporate management, and the breakdown of the group’s reunion.

In earlier episodes of his video series, Mr. P threatened Jude’s life, accused him of financial malfeasance, and tried to evict him from a jointly held property in Atlanta.

Key accusations have been refuted by Jude, who maintains that many of the matters are already before the court.

For the most part, Rudeboy has avoided public interactions.

According to his management, the artist is still committed to his music career and won’t publicly argue about family issues.
