First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu congratulated Nigerian workers while emphasizing the significance of reflecting on ways to increase workforce productivity.

In a statement she personally signed and shared to the media, Mrs. Tinubu conveyed her appreciation for the workers’ priceless contributions to the development of the country.

Mrs. Tinubu paid tribute to various professionals, including teachers, farmers, healthcare workers, engineers, and numerous more who give their skills and efforts to the progress of Nigeria, acknowledging the dedication, resilience, and inventiveness demonstrated by the country’s workforce.

On Labor Day, she called for reflection, asking employees to consider how to improve their effectiveness and efficiency in their jobs in addition to acknowledging their accomplishments.

“I acknowledge the immense contributions of our nation’s workforce, which is renowned for its dedication, resilience, and innovation”.

Thus, I honor the teachers who shape the minds of future generations, the farmers who cultivate our land, the medical professionals who protect our health, the engineers who construct our infrastructure, and countless others who dedicate their skills and time to building Nigeria a better place.

“Today, let us not only celebrate work but also reflect on how we can be a better and more productive workforce.

“On this Workers’ Day, I celebrate the spirit of work with pride. May it continue to be a source of strength, prosperity, and national progress for Nigeria,” she said.
