The ongoing #EndBadGovernaceInNigeria protest has encountered a low turnout in Gusau Town as well as other locations in Zamfara state.
It was revealed that while there were a few protestors in some streets in Gusau town, the protest failed to gain traction in the state’s other 13 local government areas.
Fuel stations were freely dispensing the commodity to motorists while commercial activity was taking place.
Similarly, civil servants of government departments and parastatals have reported to duty.
However, commercial banks were closed due to concern over potential attacks by hoodlums.
Other states, notably Kano, Lagos, and the Federal Capital Territory, have reported significant number of protesters.
