The 416 hostages taken from Ngoshe, a village in Borno State’s Gwoza Local Government Area, have been released by suspected Boko Haram terrorists.

Samaila Kaigama, the president of the Borno South Youth Alliance, confirmed the news on Sunday, stating that the prisoners were freed on Saturday.

According to earlier allegations from April 10, BOSYA had spoken with the media and acted as a go-between for the terrorist organization and the victims.

At this point, Boko Haram put the kidnapped victims on display.

“BOSYA has secured the release of all the Ngoshe 416 women and children,” he declared. On June 6th, they were released.

“We are pleased and appreciative that the fruits of our hard work, constant cries, and lengthy conversations are now being observed.

Kaigama urged the Borno State Government, the Federal Government, and the appropriate local government authorities to make sure that the released hostages are properly screened.

Usman Tar, the state Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, did not respond to many calls made to him as of the time of publication, therefore attempts to get a response from him were unsuccessful.
