The largest construction event in the nation, Big 5 Construct Nigeria, will highlight goods and services for Nigeria’s construction sector, which is expected to grow from its $54 billion production in 2025.

More than 10,000 contractors, developers, architects, engineers, and other built-environment professionals are anticipated to attend the sixth edition of the event, which will take place at the Landmark Center and include over 165 exhibitors from more than 20 countries.

Building interiors and finishes, concrete and cement, construction tools, personal protective equipment, digital construction technologies, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services, heavy construction equipment, marble and stone, metal, steel, and aluminum systems, modular construction, urban design, landscaping, windows, doors, and façades are among the solutions covered in the event, which is scheduled to return to Lagos from September 22 to 24.

According to Market Research and ResearchAndMarkets, Nigeria’s construction production was approximately $54 billion in 2025. The industry is expected to expand by 3.1% in 2026 and set an average annual growth rate of 3.2% between 2027 and 2030.

The increase would be supported, according to the organizers, by ongoing investments in housing, infrastructure, and industrial and manufacturing development.

The Federal Government’s proposal to create Building Materials Manufacturing Hubs across the nation as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda, they continued, will help efforts to lower building costs while bolstering local manufacturing and supply chains.

According to Josine Heijmans, Senior Vise President of DMG Events, the show will link Nigerian authorities and construction firms with foreign vendors and business titans.

“Nigeria’s construction industry is going through a significant period of growth, with ongoing investment creating demand for new products, expertise, and capabilities across the value chain,” Heijmans stated. In line with Nigeria’s National Development Plan, Big 5 Construct Nigeria offers a chance to link the businesses and authorities spearheading this expansion with a global network of suppliers and industry leaders, facilitating the sharing of information and business connections that can support the nation’s construction aspirations.

Brands from nations like Germany, India, Spain, Tunisia, and the United Arab Emirates will be present at the event.

Saint-Gobain, Sika, Asian Paints, Bosch, Uniflo-Al Shihhi Industry, SPG Nigeria, and Abumet are among the exhibitors that are highlighted.

Big 5 Talks, which include over 25 CPD-certified sessions on architecture, design, cost and commercial management, project management, sustainable building materials, and façades, will also be part of the event.

Project delivery, digital adoption, cost management, fit-out and finishing, and sustainable building practices are just a few of the real-world issues that will be covered in the workshops.

Bldr. Adetunji Adeniran, Registrar and Secretary to Council of the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria, will discuss advanced project delivery tactics for high-risk situations, such as project governance, oversight, and risk management.

Gabriel Oyekunle, Creative Director of CraftsPhile Studios, will look at how Building Information Modeling is used in non-BIM settings. Additionally, RIB Software’s Customer Success Manager, Engineer Thabang Chitja, will talk about how real-time data and digital project controls may enhance project performance, risk management, and cost visibility.

Director of Education and Certification at the Green Building Council of Nigeria, Arc, and Head of CDK Integrated Industries, Abimbola Onagbade, will discuss how developers can strike a balance between timeliness, quality, and cost. Emmanuel Falude will look at the business case for green buildings, taking into account sustainable investment, operational savings, and asset value.
