The older sister of Afrobeats musician David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, Sharon Ademefun, has disclosed how she oversees her brother’s finances and works to limit his spending on upscale goods.
In order to ensure financial discipline, Ademefun, the Chief Financial Officer of Davido Music Worldwide, said she works with the artist on organised financial evaluations.
She spoke during an appearance on television host Morayo Afolabi-Brown’s show, The Morayo Show, which was uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday.

She claimed that Davido occasionally keeps buying expensive cars in spite of her warnings.

Ademefun also revealed that she had been involved in Davido’s career from the beginning, claiming that their present working relationship was a logical development from her prior position on his management team.

“The issue is that David and I were constantly at odds. I’ll tell him if no one else can. Therefore, I believe that it was a natural step.
We both needed to go off and do our separate things, in my opinion. I can now use everything I’ve learnt about business to assist him in giving his company structure. It’s simply more formal.
When Afolabi-Brown questioned Ademefun about whether she understood the specifics of Davido’s riches, Ademefun added that she had signed a non-disclosure agreement.

She also revealed that Davido’s daily logistics are managed by a functional management team, and she occasionally steps in when she thinks cost-cutting measures could compromise Davido’s comfort while flying.

Ademefun also discussed her commercial ventures, such as Body Politics, a clothing company she claimed she founded in response to her dissatisfaction with the dearth of options for women with various body types.
According to her, the company sells clothes in XXS to 5XL sizes.
Ademefun stated that she was concerned about growing the company too rapidly and that she was concentrating on making improvements to what she was already doing.
“I believe that improving what I’m doing is the next great thing. I believe you’re going to see more of me, more pop-ups, and more availability, but I don’t want to make the mistake of growing too soon,” she stated.
