Lamine Yamal’s skill has been complimented by Real Madrid coach José Mourinho, but he has ruled out signing the Barcelona winger.
When asked about Yamal, Mourinho stated that the young kid is “a very good player,” but he made it apparent that he would not try to sign him.
The Portuguese was quoted by Fabrizio Romano on X on Thursday as saying, “I won’t sign him.” The best players are already here.Despite his youth, Yamal has established himself as one of the most promising young football players in the world, garnering international recognition for his skills and exploits.
Nonetheless, Mourinho’s remarks highlight his faith in the players at his disposal. The Portuguese coach feels that his present team already possesses the quality needed to compete at the top level, therefore there doesn’t seem to be any reason to search elsewhere.
Regarding Yan Diomande’s signing, Mourinho stated that he was eager to have the young winger join his team even if he did not expressly ask for the signing.”No, I wanted him, but I didn’t ask.” He’s a fantastic player who can play both sides,” he remarked.
Mourinho expressed his respect for Diomande’s offensive skills and versatility in his remarks. A coach seeking flexibility in his attacking setup will find the player appealing due to his ability to play on either wing.
On Saturday, August 22, Madrid will go to the RCDE Stadium to play their first league match against Espanyol.
