Regina Chukwu, a Nollywood actress, wrote a meaningful message to herself on her birthday, reflecting on the difficulties she has faced over the past 12 months.
The actress took pride in her fortitude in an Instagram post that detailed the sleepless nights, tears, and challenging times she had while putting her kids’ welfare first.
Along with thanking God for keeping her and her kids alive, she invited supporters to send prayers and encouraging thoughts.
“Letter to you, Chinedu, on your birthday. Chichi, I want to use this opportunity to wish you a Happy birthday and also to tell you how proud of you I am for all the things you have been going through for the last 1 year, most especially the last few months.
Yet, you carry yourself with so much grace. For the sleepless nights, for those tears that leave the pillows dripping wet, for fighting the depressing moments like these, Ada Oliver, that you are. Yet, you wipe the tears dry once you notice any of your children approaching.
For always trying to show up for people, even when you were drowning.
For all the seen and unseen battles, for chesting disappointment from the people (person ) you trusted with everything, for holding it down real good.
