As Yakira Eliana celebrated her first birthday, media personality Toke Makinwa revealed her daughter’s face for the first time.
On Friday, the presenter introduced her daughter to the public on Instagram with a heartfelt post commemorating the achievement.
She commented, “The best part of my story, finally yours to meet.”
After a year, Makinwa was prepared to share “a little piece of my heaven with the world,” referring to Yakira as her “precious answered prayer,” “greatest love,” and “greatest blessing.”
As she wished her daughter a happy first birthday, she wrote, “God can be trusted, God is real,” reflecting on her path to motherhood and stating that she had met “El-roi,” the God who sees.
The toddler was also given loving nicknames by the media personality, such as “YaYa,” “Ya Pom Pom,” “Ya mama,” and “my little bum bum.”
Makinwa welcomed Yakira in August 2025 after announcing her pregnancy, calling it “the biggest project” of her life. Because she was not known to be in a relationship, some social media users questioned the identity of her baby’s father, while others conjectured about the veracity of her baby bump. Her pregnancy garnered a lot of public attention. But she continued by announcing the birth of her baby, calling it a miracle and a prayer answered.
