Adebayo Ridwan Abidemi, better known by his stage name Isbae U, is a content creator. He explained how he came up with his well-liked interview series, Curiosity Made Me Ask, stating that he wanted to do something different from skit-making.
In an interview with media personality Morayo Afolabi-Brown on The Morayo Show, which was posted on YouTube on Wednesday, Isbae U revealed this.
He claimed that while searching for his speciality, he had experimented with a variety of entertainment mediums, such as acting, singing, and rapping.
He claims that he eventually came to the conclusion that he did not want to stay “part of the skit makers” and started searching for an idea that would make him stand out.
“I was simply discovering who I was. I was involved in that procedure. Prior to that, I was rapping and singing. He remarked, “I was just discovering myself.
Isbae U gave an explanation of how Curiosity Made Me Ask came to be, stating that he had made the decision to stop being ordinary and start something new.
“I once told someone that I was tired of being average and mediocre. I wanted to try something new. He stated, “I didn’t want to just be seen as one of them, a part of the skit makers.”
He claimed that American comedian Zach Galifianakis’ Between Two Ferns interview series later served as an inspiration for him.
“I saw a show that I used to watch a while back. Zach Galifianakis’s piece is titled Between Two Ferns. I therefore thought the show was fantastic. “Oh, this is something I can do,” I thought. He remarked, “Even though the guy didn’t even do it as much as I’m doing now.”
Since then, Isbae U has interviewed notable individuals using this style, such as former President Olusegun Obasanjo, actor Peter Edochie, and performer Charly Boy.
Speaking about the concept behind the interviews, he stated that the goal was to show the public a different aspect of celebrities rather than just ask them standard questions.
He explained, “The purpose of Curiosity Made Me Ask is to show you another aspect of this celebrity that you haven’t seen.”
He continued by saying that he was frequently anxious before doing interviews with more senior and well-known figures, but that they had accepted him and encouraged him to be himself.
The former president became one of the most recent well-known figures to come on the program, and his recent discussion with Obasanjo attracted a lot of attention online.
“Every single time. When asked if he ever felt anxious before such interviews, he responded, “Especially when it comes to people that are way older than me.”
Isbae U stated that he has been creating behind-the-scenes stories for other creators and that he plans to keep experimenting with other types of content.

He went on to say that he intended to produce more content in the future.
