The ruling All Progressives Congress’s nominee for governor, Alhaji Tijani Galadima, has visited Adamawa State residents who are employed in Abuja.
Galadima’s media assistant, Adamu Sambo, stated in a press release on Friday that the meeting was a chance for the candidate to formally present his vision for the state, which is embodied in the “Adamawa Rising Agenda,” a development blueprint he described as his roadmap for building on the gains already made in the state while introducing new ideas, policies, and programs capable of accelerating sustainable development and improving the lives of the people.
“The APC Governorship Candidate for Adamawa State, Ahmed Galadima Aminu, took his message of consultation, partnership, and collective responsibility to Abuja, where he met with Federal Government appointees from Adamawa State, following the successful launch of his 2027 campaign in Yola.
He stated, “The Federal Government appointees thoroughly examined and constructively engaged with the blueprint, expressing their appreciation for what they described as a well-thought-out and comprehensive development agenda with the potential to provide a clear direction for taking Adamawa State to the next level.”
According to the statement, the appointees characterized the candidate’s choice to interact with them, hear their viewpoints, and ask for their cooperation, understanding, and support as a sign of humility, honor, and respect as well as a readiness to consult widely on matters that impact Adamawa State’s overall interests.
“For Galadima, the engagement is about much more than seeking political support,” the statement said. It expresses his belief that the government cannot handle the responsibility of creating a better Adamawa on its own.
“Whether at home or serving the country at the federal level, it requires the contributions, experience, expertise, and goodwill of all stakeholders.”
According to the statement, the interaction was a further step in the candidate’s dedication to creating connections, hearing other points of view, and forming a wide-ranging alliance for a more prosperous, inclusive, peaceful, and development-focused Adamawa.
Sambo stated, “The message is straightforward: Adamawa Rising is a team effort, and everyone has a part to play.”
The statement claims that the candidate was reassured by the federal appointees that they will return to their constituencies and diligently fight for the success of all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.
“Ahmed Galadima Aminu, the governorship candidate, expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for placing Adamawa natives in important federal government positions during the meeting.”
In addition to being a significant honor for the state, Galadima said that their nominations were a suitable acknowledgment of their exceptional service record, devotion to national development, and steadfast support of the APC’s expansion.
Additionally, the APC candidate for governor hailed Governor Ahmadu Fintiri for his faith in his ability and competence to contribute to the next stage of Adamawa’s development and praised him for the state’s extraordinary transformation.
