A Max Air Plane with the registration number 5N-MBD, carrying 53 passengers, experienced a tyre burst at Mallam Aminu International Airport in Kano on late Tuesday evening.
A passenger stated that the airplane had suffered the tyre burst upon landing at 22:57pm.
The plane had already taken off for Kano from Murtala Muhammed Muhammed Airport in Lagos.
However, it was reported that every passenger on the flight had been evacuated safely from the plane.
It was learnt that the aircraft may have lost the nose landing gear tyre while landing, consequently leading to the mishap.
No airline official was available for comment at the time this article was filed.
