The motorbike sector of the Sokoto Central market is currently impacted by the market’s fire.

The fire erupted early this morning, according to an eyewitness who spoke with our correspondent, but its source is still unknown at this time.

Although according to a different report, the Sokoto Central market fire originated  at a trash site near the motorcycle section.

In response, Shehu Muhammad, the chairman of the Motorcycles Marketers Association, stated that because the fire was still blazing, they were unable to estimate the number of motorcycles that had been destroyed.

We are unable to estimate the number of motorcycles that have been destroyed by the fire at this time because the fire is still raging.

However, because they were unable to arrive in time, many people lost both their stores and their motorcycles when the fire broke out at around six in the morning.

“However, firefighters from the federal and state agencies are battling right now, and I know it will take some time before they can put out the whole thing,” the man stated.

But he made a plea to the state authorities to assist individuals who lost their possessions in the fire.
