Jeff Stelling, a veteran of Sky Sports, has predicted that Arsenal would win the Premier League this season.
According to Stelling, Mikel Arteta’s team is the clear favorite going into the season because their closest competitors haven’t improved enough to catch up to them.
The Gunners are coming off a fantastic season in which they defeated Manchester City and Manchester United to win the Premier League.
Additionally, they advanced to the UEFA Champions League final, where they were defeated by Paris Saint-Germain.
In an effort to compete on both the domestic and European fronts, Arteta strengthened his team during the transfer window.
Stelling stated, “For me, the challengers are not getting stronger,” in an interview with talkSPORT on Monday.
“So, in my opinion, Arsenal are the overwhelming favorites in the Premier League right now, but it’s also a question of what they can do in Europe.”
