The results of the Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency by-election have been characterized by Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf as a test for the All Progressives Congress before to the general elections of 2027.

In a statement released by his spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa, Yusuf claimed that the election’s peaceful conduct and high voter turnout demonstrated the public’s continued support for the APC and its policies.

According to him, the election was free, fair, and credible, reflecting the electorate’s preferences.

Yusuf praised security services for maintaining a calm environment and praised the Independent National Electoral Commission for conducting the process.

He advised the APC candidate to continue his dedication to effective representation and congratulated him on his victory.

According to the governor, the outcome demonstrated that the APC was still in control of Kano State and was well-positioned for next elections.

He accused the New Democratic Congress of lacking a grassroots organization and criticized the party for not fielding a candidate.

According to Yusuf, the by-election demonstrated the state’s opposition groups’ weakness and confirmed his administration’s dedication to implementing people-oriented projects throughout Kano.

Additionally, he congratulated APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda and President Bola Tinubu on the party’s recent national by-election victories.
